I hadn’t bothered to set up scrobbling on my phone for Spotify, mostly because I had forgotten to do it since the new phone arrived in my hands. This past week I have been stuck in the office doing survey stuff and getting some what bored, especially with the silence, I needed music to keep me going. First stop was Spotify seeing as though I had wifi available to stream music. I went to click on srcobbling and realised that I hadn’t set it up. So I typed in user name (correct) password (correct). Login failure each time and I tried at home as well, several times. As most people would, I kept thinking it was the password. How wrong, it was in the evening I thought I’d check the user name in case this numpty had used the suggested word in swiftkey. I had, so the moral of the story when your login fails is to check the user name and not the pass word and DON’T use suggested or predicted test when filling in login form.
Thought I’d mention this for two reason, first to show human faults and second, I haven’t read about this solution to login failure before.
